An Open Letter To The Geek Squad

Dear Geek Squad,

Thanks for taking THREE weeks to fix my computer. I probably could have figured out how to repair it in that amount of time. Oh, and thanks for NOT calling me to tell me it was ready to pick up. Awesome, awesome job guys. Do any of you EVER get laid? Just wondering.

F**k You All,

Brooke Amanda

Let this be a less for all. never trust anyone with a badge, pocket protector and a severe overbite.

At my local Best Buy, the Geek Squad guys and gals are great - they have the technical skills yet they can translate issues to average citizen language.

But God help you if they can't resolve and fix within 5-10 minutes and it has to be shipped off to the repair shop in Hell.

Cheers

Judging by the geeks shows on TV, the geeks never get laid. And they have little self respect if they let themselves be called the Geek Squad!

Geek Squad... as if.

Nick Burns is the guy to get computer problems fixed:

A geeks job is to fuck with you until you're insane.

Your computer was fixed a day later and they were just busy playing doom or something.

Fucking nerds.

I agree with all of you! They did have to ship my laptop off to get fixed, then were calling THE WRONG PHONE NUMBER, so I didn't even know it was in. I kind of have a feeling they made copies of my "Dirty Pics" folder. God help me if I see my tits online!

I want to get the work out about what the Geek Squad did to us. My 15 year old son took $200 out of his savings account to have the computer fixed. They required this deposit in advance to pay for any and all software problems. I was surprised when I picked it up that all they did was clean up the viruses - for $200. When we brought the computer home we had the same exact problem - nothing was fixed. We brought it in the very next day and now, miraculously, the video card is going out and we need to buy a new one. That I'm most certain of is the problem they should have fixed in the first place but they "didn't see that" the day before. This isn't fair. My son used his birthday and Christmas money for these Geeks to "clean up the viruses on the computer". It's a scam, ripoff - UGH!!!

I think buying the warranty program from Geek Squad was a big mistake. They will not answer simple questions over the phone, but they offered to come to my home to answer questions for a big fat fee. Would not recommend them to anyone - save your money and get some real help elsewhere.
